A home on Arden Place was badly damaged by fire Sunday afternoon in Hopkinsville.
According to the Hopkinsville Fire Department, firefighters responded to call of a possible house fire on Arden Place just before 1:15 p.m.—on the way to the scene, smoke could be seen from several blocks away.
Upon arrival, an active fire was confirmed and work began immediately to extinguish it, with the fire brought under control within 25 minutes of arrival.
No injuries were reported in the incident, and the cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
