Ascend Elements officials provided a 2025 recap spotlighting the company’s milestones and plans for the future, which include further development of Hopkinsville’s Apex 1 facility in Commerce Park II.
Ascend Elements is a battery materials manufacturer and ground was broken on the company’s Hopkinsville facility in 2022, but in recent years the deadline for the facility’s completion continues to be postponed. The company has also faced a lawsuit concerning $138.4 million of alleged unpaid labor.
However the manufacturer says upon financial close expected in quarter one or quarter two of 2026, Ascend Elements officials will scale its Kentucky and Poland facilities.
