To kick off Memorial Day weekend, Bluegrass Splash is opening back up for the summer on Saturday after the water park’s 2023 season was cut short as a result of repairs and maintenance that needed to be addressed.
Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation shared opening day festivities as well as an update regarding water park repairs. On Saturday, Parks and Recreation will be at Bluegrass Splash from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. where they will be hosting giveaways which include free day passes and season passes for the park.
Regarding repairs, a water leak from last season was repaired and other maintenance includes the installation of a new line to the pump house and testing of pools and pumps to ensure they perform well.
