Casey Jones Distillery is getting ready to celebrate 10-years of service to the region, and they’re hosting a big celebration this weekend.
According to a news release, not only will a big party big held on Friday and Saturday at Casey Jones on Witty Lane, they’ll also be releasing the Founder’s 10th Anniversary Blend, a battle of 103.3 proof spirits that was distilled in a handmade pot copper still, aged and then blended to taste. As an added tribute, the bottle is etched with an image of Casey himself, whose craftsmanship, superior moonshine, and innovation in still designs caught the attention of Al Capone and cemented Casey’s legendary status.
Casey Jones is the grand-father of master distiller Arlon Jones, who founded the distillery ten years ago now with the help of his wife, Peg Hayes.
On Friday and Saturday, there will be live music, signature cocktails and food trucks on hand, and all guests can enter in for a chance to win the Anniversary Barrel head as a unique piece of Casey Jones Distillery history.
