Casey Jones Distillery to welcome Distillery University in April for distilling workshop

Distillery University is coming to Casey Jones Distillery to host a three-day workshop to give aspiring distillers the chance to learn about liquor production.

Founded in Spokane, Washington, Distillery University offers online education and in-person workshops for those interested in entering the distilling business. The workshop is from April 3 to April 5 and attendees will learn about bourbon, vodka, gin, and brandy production.

Folks will also learn about launching and marketing their liquor brands. Those in the workshop will learn from Todd Buckley the university’s director of education and Casey Jones Distillery’s master distillers.

A representative from the distillery says hosting this workshop in their historic still room allows them to pass down generations of knowledge. Rockwell Rutter, the university’s founder, says he’s truly excited to share the magic of Casey Jones’ craft with both locals and visitors.

Those interested in attending the workshop can register at distilleryuniversity.com.
