After working in the Christian County Public School System for 18 years, Megan Kem is set to serve as the interim principal of Christian County High School starting on July 1.
During her career with the school system, Kem has worked at both Hopkinsville High School and CCHS. She has most recently served as the assistant principal at CCHS for the past six years.
Superintendent Chris Bentzel says Kem has been a longstanding member of the Colonel administration and is confident that her experience and steady leadership will guide the school effectively during this next year of transition. Kem says she looks forward to supporting students and their families and is committed to creating a school culture where everyone can thrive.
Kem’s appointment comes after the recent resignation of Principal Leigh Ellen Malone who is set to take on a position in the Warren County School System.
