At the Christian County Public School System’s recent Employee Recognition Celebration, Bus Driver Jane Davis was honored for her 50 years of service.
After working with CCPS since 1976, Davis was presented with The Heart of CCPS Award and was named the Classified Staff Member of the Year in the transportation department. At the celebration, Transportation Director Mike Brumley said Davis consistently goes above and beyond for both the department and the students, ensuring every ride is safe, welcoming and positive.
Superintendent Chris Bentzel said the impact she’s made doesn’t stop when the bus ride ends—it carries on into classrooms, homes and throughout the entire CCPS community. Davis is set to retire this year.
