To help provide gifts to those who are less fortunate, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with Cash Express for their annual Cram the Cruiser Toy Drive on Friday.
Christian County Sheriff Tyler DeArmond says a cruiser will be parked in front of Cash Express at 630 West 7th Street where folks can come and fill it with new toy donations. DeArmond says he looks forward to helping ensure that local kids have gifts to open on Christmas morning.
DeArmond calls it an honor to give back to the community, and says he along with his deputies plan to make some donations.
All of the toys collected will go to Micah’s Mission, a Hopkinsville-based nonprofit that provides food and resources to those in need in the community. The toy drive will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Cash Express on Friday.
