Commissioner of Agriculture Jonathan Shell has proclaimed October as Pork Month in Kentucky.
Shell is not holding back when it comes to celebrating agriculture industries and says pork plays a vital role in our state and it’s important to recognize producers across the state.
Kentucky-grown pork can be found at Cracker Barrel Restaurants, FiveStar gas station, Dairy Queen restaurants in Kentucky and surrounding regions.
The Kentucky Pork Producers joined Shell in celebrating and said, “We encourage all individuals to celebrate Pork Month within the month of October and support an industry that is vital to so many within our state.”
