Christian Fiscal Court made quick work of a short agenda Tuesday morning, and heard an update on storm debris removal from Christian County Emergency Management.
Work continues across the county to clean up debris from the May 26 tornado that traced its way through southern Christian County, and the Road Department and Emergency Management have been hard at work to see it done. Emergency Management Director Randy Graham says crews are currently in and around the Pembroke area for the first round of clean-up efforts.
This first round focuses on vegetative debris, such as tree limbs, but Graham says they’ll shift focus to other types of debris after a short break.
Magistrates approved the annual renewal for reimbursement to update some of the software used at the ECC.
Magistrate Phillip Peterson reminded those who frequently drive KY 115 that the closure to make way for the widening of the roadway has been pushed back to July 16, with the hope of having that part of the project completed in a couple of days.
