City of Hopkinsville to host town hall with Rep. Jason Petrie

The City of Hopkinsville will host a Legislative Town Hall with State Representative Jason Petrie and the it will be open to the public.

Representative Petrie represents Todd, Logan and a portion of Christian County, and he chairs the Kentucky House Appropriations and Revenue Committee—during the town hall on January 21 he will discuss the state budget and the slow decrease of the state income tax.

That will include valuable insights and updates, along with an explanation on why they’ve chosen this slow decrease route and what it might mean for the future of the Commonwealth. 

The townhall will start at 3 p.m. at the Hopkinsville Municipal Center on January 21 and is open to the public and free to attend.
