Clarksville man killed in Christian Co. collision

A Clarksville man was killed in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of KY 117 and U.S. 41 in Oak Grove Sunday afternoon. 

According to Kentucky State Police, preliminary investigation has revealed that a vehicle driven by 53-year-old Daryll Hook of Hopkinsville failed to stop at the intersection and continued through it, striking another vehicle driven by 26-year-old Deborah Stanford of Clarksville. 

A passenger in Stanford’s vehicle, 55-year-old Tony Kilsby of Clarksville, was flown to a nearby hospital, where he would later die of his injuries.

Others involved were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

At this time, no criminal charges have been filed—the investigation continues.
