The Clarksville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect sought in connection with a robbery at the Speedway Café last week.
According to a news release, it happened just after midnight on August 8, when a white male suspect entered the Speedway on Providence Boulevard with a firearm on his hip and demanded money. The victim reports the suspect never brandished the gun.
The suspect is described as having a chinstrap-style beard, a tattoo just about his left and right wrists, and possibly a tattoo on his left leg. He was wearing a grey shirt, a gray snapback hat and sunglasses.
He fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. Anyone with information on his identity is asked to call Clarksville Crime Stoppers at 931-645-TIPS.
