Clarksville Police identify victim, arrest woman connected to Darlene Drive shooting

Clarksville Police have identified the victim and arrested a suspect in connection to a fatal shooting on Darlene Drive on October 5.

At around 2 a.m. officers responded to the area of Darlene Drive for reports of a shooting. At the scene officers made contact with 31-year-old Nolan Jackson of Memphis, Tennessee who suffered a gunshot wound. He was transported to Tennova Healthcare where he was later pronounced deceased.

Since then, 22-year-old Shaliyah Tynise Potts has been arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery. She was reportedly with Jackson around the time of the shooting. Investigators believe the pair were involved in criminal activity that resulted in Jackson’s death.

The investigation continues, and officers are seeking a third person in connection to Jackson’s death.
