Nominations are open now as the Christian County Chamber of Commerce gets ready to celebrate the many local small businesses that call the area home.
The 2025 Compass Awards are set for April 15 at the Silo Event Center—but before they can give out awards, they need some nominations. Chandler Ladd with the Chamber says it’s easy to nominate your favorite small business by going online to the Chamber’s website and filling out the simple form.
There are several categories to choose from and you can nominate someone for each of them. Ladd says they’ll hand out awards for all types of businesses, non-profits, celebrate those who have just started and those who have called the area home for years.
She says the Compass Awards are named that because they believe these small businesses and entrepreneurs are pointing the way forward in the direction they want to see the community thrive and grow.
