The Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Department have extended the deadline to register to put a float in the Christmas parade.
According to a news release, people now have until November 22 to fill out the paperwork to put a float or a unit into the parade. Entry forms may be picked up at the Parks and Recreation office on Thomas Street or online at hoptownrec.com. For more information, call Parks and Rec at 270-887-4290.
The downtown lighted Christmas parade is set to take place December 9 at 5:15 p.m. and has a theme this year of “Reviving Christmas”.
