DENSO Air Systems in Hopkinsville are giving back to the community, as they donated $25,000 to benefit the Christian County Rescue Team.
In a brief check presentation Thursday afternoon, Rescue Team Chief Randy Graham thanked DENSO for the very generous donation, saying it will go a long way to benefit the Rescue Team and through them, the people of Christian County who rely on their services.
He says the Rescue Team is a group of individuals focused on providing aid to citizens, whether that be through weather-related disasters or vehicular accidents—they’ve got your back.
DENSO President Nick Isobe says he got the idea to donate to the Rescue Team following the recent tornado that tracked through Christian County, causing damage and power outages in its wake, and this was just a small way to help the team and the community.
DENSO Air Systems is a Japan-based company that has been calling Hopkinsville home since 2011 and is a manufacturer of hose and tube piping, employing approximately 300 individuals.
