Deputies from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence in Oak Grove that resulted in the arrest of 26-year-old Valdarious Starks and 27-year-old Vivica Gee for drug trafficking charges on Friday.
According to a news release from the sheriff’s office, the arrest of Starks and Gee came after an investigation that was started by detectives from the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit. With the information provided from McCracken County detectives, deputies from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at a residence on Gleaves Lane in Oak Grove.
Deputies reportedly found multiple items of illegal contraband in the residence and detained Starks and Gee. The contraband found allegedly includes, 3,100 fentanyl pills, methamphetamine, an undisclosed amount of cash, drug paraphernalia and a firearm.
Along with suspects being found in the residence, deputies reportedly came across three small children. Starks and Gee were charged with trafficking in fentanyl, trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and three counts of criminal abuse of children under the age of 12. Starks was also charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
