Double-check Lucky for Life lottery tickets; winning ticket still unclaimed

Somebody in western Kentucky could soon have an unexpected windfall, after a winning lottery ticket was sold at a location in Bowling Green in 2025 but remains unclaimed.

Double check those Lucky for Life tickets, as the winner holding that tickets has won $25,000 a year for life. The winning numbers from that October 21, 2025 ticket were 8—9—15—31—32 with a Lucky Ball of 12.  That ticket was sold at Jr. Foods in Bowling Green.

The winner of the ticket must claim the prize at lottery headquarters and has180 days from the draw date to claim. If the ticket is not claimed by Friday, April 17, 2026, the prize amount – $282,750 – goes into the Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship (KEES) reserve fund.

In 2025, the Kentucky Lottery paid out more than $1.6 billion in prizes. Kentucky Lottery proceeds have funded scholarships and grants for more than 1.1 million Kentucky college students.
