Double-murder suspect Anthony Gaines appeared in Christian County Circuit Court on Wednesday where he was arraigned on charges related to an alleged assault incident.
Gaines is already charged with two counts of murder, first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, tampering with physical evidence and four counts of wanton endangerment for the 2021 shooting deaths of Kierra Wallace and George Gomez.
On Wednesday, Gaines was arraigned for two counts of third-degree inmate assault on a corrections employee and four counts of third-degree terroristic threatening following a recent incident that occurred while he was in custody.
Gaines is set to reappear in court in April for a pretrial hearing.
