A fatal single-vehicle wreck in Simpson County resulted in the death of 48-year-old Christopher Barker of Elkton on Sunday.
Kentucky State Police and Deputies from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of the wreck in the 1200 block of Milliken Chapel Road. A deputy reportedly observed Barker traveling east on the road at a high rate of speed, before his vehicle ran off the roadway and collided with a tree.
Barker was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Simpson County Coroner and the wreck is under investigation.
