The Hopkinsville Fire Department made quick work of extinguishing a fire inside of an apartment building on Calvin Drive Monday evening.
According to a news release, firefighters arrived on scene within minutes of receiving the call of a fire just before 5 p.m. and once on scene, quickly contained the fire to the area of origin, limiting damages. The fire was inside of a bedroom in an apartment.
No one was injured in the blaze, but two adults, two children and one dog were temporarily displaced.
