It’s almost time for the return of a community favorite, as the Alpha Pregnancy Care Center is set to host their annual father and daughter dance on February 27.
This will be the 18th annual father-daughter dance Alpha has hosted, and its’ become a tradition for many and a heart-felt memory for many others. Alpha Executive Director Angie Crawford says the relationship between fathers and their daughters is a vital one that can help set their kids up for success, and they want to help set the stage for that bonding.
Speaking with WHOP on Monday, Crawford shared the details, saying tickets are still available online through Eventbrite, and they’re encouraging folks to go ahead and grab those tickets now. The dance itself is set for February 27 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the James E. Bruce Convention Center.
Money raised by the event goes back to supporting Alpha’s mission, which is to provide love, support and resources to women experiencing pregnancy in the community, especially those who may not have that support elsewhere.
Tickets will also be available at the door the night of the event—for more information, visit Alpha Pregnancy Care Center on Facebook.
