The deadline for Kentuckians impacted by severe weather in early April to apply for FEMA disaster assistance is Friday.
During the first week of April, parts of Kentucky were impacted by severe storms that resulted in floods, landslides, mudslides and straight-line winds.
Those who experienced damages can apply for assistance online at disasterassistance.gov or by using the FEMA mobile app. Those with any questions concerning the application can call the helpline at 880-621-3362.
Applicants will have to provide a current cellphone number, home address, social security number, list of the damages and losses, banking information and insurance details.
