Former Mayor Wendell Lynch has been appointed to serve on the Hopkinsville Solid Waste Enterprise Board.
According to a news release from the City of Hopkinsville, Lynch accepted the position and brings with him a valued history of exemplary leadership, fiscal responsibility and financial expertise that gives him vital insight and experience to the role.
City Administrator Troy Body says, “Wendell’s integrity along with his fiscal and managerial expertise make him the man for the moment. He has a lifetime of exemplary service to his hometown, and it is why he has earned and maintained the public’s trust. He will be an invaluable addition to the board.”
