The new visitor control center at Fort Campbell’s T.C. Freeman Gate is set to open in April, following around a year of construction.
In December 2023, the center closed to allow construction to begin on an updated facility. The new center will begin operations on April 1 and will be open to non-commercial vehicles and pedestrian traffic twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
The center at Gate Seven will then be open Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. for commercial traffic only, and the gate’s commercial vehicle traffic lane will also be open daily from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
