Fourth Fest, Praise in the Park comes back to Madisonville this weekend

The City of Madisonville is inviting the community to enjoy three nights of live music at this weekend’s Fourth Fest and Praise in the Park.

The festival kicks off on Friday, the Fourth of July. The gates at Madisonville City Park open at 3 p.m., and the concert starts at 5:30 p.m. Luci Bess with the City of Madisonville says Morris Day and the Time get things started, then the show continues with Ruben Studdard before concluding with a fireworks show.

Saturday continues with three country artists. Bryan Martin opens at 5:30 p.m., Chase Matthew follows and then Chris Janson concludes the night. Along with the live music, Bess says they will have a whole lot of food trucks and vendors at the festival.

Then on Sunday, Praise in the Park will include performances by Josiah Queen and Tauren Wells.

Fourth Fest and Praise in the Park are free to attend and more information about the events is available at madisonvilleliving.com.
