A Gracey woman was flown to a Nashville hospital early Saturday morning following a single-vehicle crash on the Greenville Road.
According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, it happened in the 6500 block of Greenville Road just after midnight when a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Riley Doss of Gracey when it drifted into the northbound lane while heading south. Doss reportedly overcorrected to get back into her lane of travel and ran off the right-side of the road.
The vehicle struck an earthen embankment and overturned at least once, striking a mailbox before coming to a stop in the ditch.
Doss had to be extricated from the vehicle and was flown to Nashville hospital for treatment of multiple injuries.
