Grand Jury issues indictments for endangerment, abuse related crimes

A Christian County Grand Jury issued indictments for wanton endangerment and sexual abuse related crimes on Friday.

Christopher Smith, age 37 of Illinois, was indicted on multiple charges including wanton endangerment after he reportedly led law enforcement on a vehicle pursuit that began on East Ninth Street and ended in Hopkins County in May.

Smith was indicted on eight counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, receiving stolen property, three counts of first-degree assault, three counts of first-degree criminal mischief, first-degree possession of controlled substance, first-degree fleeing or evading police, possession of drug paraphernalia and multiple traffic offenses.

David Moore, age 53 of Hopkinsville, was indicted on first-degree wanton endangerment after he reportedly pointed a gun at someone during an argument in May .

 Jessica Reeve, age 35 of Oak Grove, was indicted on two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment for an incident that occurred in April that created a substantial risk of death or serious injury for two minors.

Jamal Lipford, age 27 of Hopkinsville, was indicted on first-degree sexual abuse after he reportedly subjected a 13-year-old victim to unwanted sexual contact in March.
