A Christian County Grand Jury issued indictments for wanton endangerment, fleeing or evading police, drug trafficking and human trafficking related crimes on Friday.
Tyreek Collier, age 23 of Fort Campbell, and Derrick Burgess, age 30 of Oak Grove were indicted endangerment charges after reportedly leading law enforcement on a pursuit on March 17.
Collier was charged with three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree criminal mischief, racing a motor vehicle on a public highway, reckless driving, failure to produce an insurance card, having an expired registration, speeding and two counts of improper signaling.
Burgess was charged with three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree fleeing or evading police, operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, possession of marijuana, racing a motor vehicle on a public highway, reckless driving and speeding.
Jacob Burns, age 23 of Oak Grove, was indicted on fleeing charges after he reportedly led a pursuit with law enforcement in March. Burns was charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving and speeding.
Turning toward drug related crimes, Trey Schobeloch, age 30 of Hopkinsville, was indicted on drug trafficking charges after law enforcement executed a search at a residence that reportedly yielded a large amount of suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, synthetic marijuana and marijuana plants in March.
Schobeloch was charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, cultivating marijuana plants, trafficking in marijuana, possession of synthetic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Joshua Meacham, age 44 of Hopkinsville was indicted on drug trafficking charges after he was found to reportedly be in possession of multiple controlled substances in March. Meacham was charged with two counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Concerning crimes toward minors, Lewis Cortez Jr., age 20 of Hopkinsville, was indicted after an investigation reportedly revealed that he was attempting to procure a minor for human trafficking in March. Cortez was charged with attempted human trafficking of a victim under the age of 18 and two counts of procurement of a minor by electronic means.
Curtis Dockweiler, age 44 of Ohio, was indicted after he was found to reportedly be attempting to procure a minor by electronic means in December 2023. Dockweiler was charged with four counts of procuring of a minoring by electronic means and distribution of obscene matter.
Jerry Meadows, age 35 of Hopkinsville, was indicted after law enforcement was reportedly alerted to Meadows uploading images depicting child sexual abuse material to an internet messaging site in March. Meadows was charged with eight counts of possession of a matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor over the age of 12 but under the age of 18, six counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor under the age of a 12 and distribution of matter portraying sexual performance of a minor over the age of 12 but under the age of 18.
Justin Morris, age 34 of Hopkinsville, was indicted after he was arrested for reportedly unlawfully entering a home when he was intoxicated in February. Morris was charged with first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
