Grand Jury issues indictments for fleeing, drug trafficking crimes

A Christian County Grand Jury issued indictments for fleeing from law enforcement, drug trafficking and theft-related crimes on Friday.

Dustin Duley, age 27 of Springfield, was indicted on charges of first-degree fleeing or evading police and receiving stolen property after he reportedly led law enforcement on a vehicle pursuit on July 31 that started in Tennessee and ended in Pembroke.

Danasia Blaine, age 23 of Hopkinsville, was indicted on multiple charges after she was found to reportedly be in possession of multiple controlled substances between January and May. Blaine was charged with three counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance for fentanyl, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance for cocaine and trafficking in a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school campus.  

Zara Matlock, age 22 of Hopkinsville, was indicted on a charge of second-degree domestic violence after she was reportedly involved in an altercation and severely cut the victim’s ear on July 22.

Richard LaPlante, age 58 of Crofton, was indicted on multiple charges after he unlawfully entered a building and reportedly stole multiple items on April 1 and 2. LaPlante was charged with two counts of third-degree burglary, two counts of theft by unlawful taking and two counts of third-degree criminal mischief.

Alejandro Daniel, age 21 of Hopkinsville, was indicted on multiple charges after he was reportedly stalking someone who was the victim of a wanton endangerment case involving Daniel on July 15. Daniel was charged with first-degree stalking, possession of marijuana while armed and possession of restricted ammunition during a felony.
