A shooting in Summit Heights in Clarksville Wednesday night has now turned into a homicide investigation after the victim has succumbed to his injuries.
According to a news release, officers with the Clarksville Police Department responded to the area for reports of a shooting and upon arrival, found a male victim with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to an area hospital, where he would later be pronounced deceased.
