The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office announced that they will start using the Neighbors App to share public safety information with the community.
The sheriff’s office says the app will allow them to post updates concerning events that affect public safety. The sheriff’s office says the app does not give them access to private security cameras, personal data or private content.
By using the Neighbors App, the sheriff’s office hopes to improve communication, share timely alerts, post crime prevention information and ask for public assistance when its needed. The app is free to download.
