Hopkinsville Art Guild exhibition currently on display at HCC

The Hopkinsville Art Guild is currently showcasing the many talents of their members, with the Spring Member Art Exhibition now on display at Hopkinsville Community College.

The exhibit, located in the HCC Auditorium Gallery at 720 North Drive, features 80 works of art created by the 26 Hopkinsville Art Guild Members, representing several different art mediums. That’s including drawing in pencil, charcoal, ink and pastels, painting in watercolor or acrylic, oil panting, pottery and photography.

Several members received outstanding recognition for their pieces, including Best of Show going to Peggy Luensmann, while first place went to Steve Chlupsa, second place to Linda Pierce, third place was claimed by Henrietta Kemp and honorable mentions went out to Michala Smith, Betty Liles, Laurel King, Thea Russell and Marti Lopez.

The exhibit is open to the public during the HCC Gallery’s normal hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 7:00 pm.  Many of the original works of art will be for sale.  Anyone interested in purchasing artwork should contact the artist directly using phone numbers provided on each piece.
