A Hopkinsville man will spend the next ten years in federal prison after he was recently sentenced for distributing methamphetamine.
According to the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Kentucky, 45-year-old Troy Clark of Hopkinsville was convicted for selling methamphetamine on three separate occasions, once in November of 2021, one in December of that same year and the in January of 2022. Clark reportedly sold roughly 250 grams of meth during that time frame.
Clark was sentence on June 11 to serve 10 years in federal prison, to be followed by five years of supervised release on three counts of distribution of methamphetamine.
There is no parole in the federal system.
