The Hopkinsville Fire Department recently spotlighted the promotions of three of its members to the department’s officer corps.
Chad Taylor was promoted to captain after serving as the acting captain of Battalion Two. Taylor joined the department in 2014 as a firefighter and EMT and went on to become an advanced EMT and a driver and was promoted to lieutenant in 2019.
Anthony Richardson was promoted to lieutenant after serving as a backup lieutenant for Battalion One. Since joining the department in 2019, Richardson has become an advanced EMT and served as a backup engineer.
Lastly, Nathan Stewart was promoted to lieutenant after joining the department in 2019. Since joining, Stewart has served as a backup engineer for Battalion One and as a deputy fire marshal focusing on fire prevention efforts in the city.
