The Christian County Sheriff’s Department has served a warrant against a Hopkinsville man in connection with a burglary that happened in December.
According to a news release, deputies responded to the City Salvage building on Greenville Road for reports of a possible burglary. Investigation determined that security footage showed two individuals running past the building around the same time that deputies were contacted.
Attempts to locate the suspects was unsuccessful, but items left in a vehicle on scene led to the identity of 22-year-old Fredrick Reeves of Hopkinsville, who was arrested in Montgomery County on Thursday.
Reeves was extradited by to the Christian County Jail, where he is lodged on charges of third-degree burglary, first-degree fleeing or evading police and failure to appear.
