Hopkinsville man charged with wanton endangerment

A Hopkinsville man has been charged after he reportedly pointed a gun at someone during an argument Thursday. 

According to the Hopkinsville police report, 41-year-old Derrick Tatum of Hopkinsville was in a verbal altercation with the victim, when he allegedly pulled a firearm, pointing it at the victim and threatening to shoot him. 

Tatum reportedly got rid of the firearm before police arrival. 

He was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment and tampering with physical evidence.
