Hopkinsville man facing fentanyl trafficking charges in Graves Co.

A Hopkinsville man was arrested in Graves County Monday on charges related to trafficking in Fentanyl.

According to the Graves County Sheriff’s Department, an undercover drug investigation was conducted following a tip that 30-year-old Dajuan Quarles of Hopkinsville was transporting Fentanyl from Hopkinsville to Graves County to allegedly sell it.

On Saturday night, a traffic stop was conducted on vehicle on Copeland Road—a search of the vehicle reportedly revealed dosages of Fenatnyl, a small amount of methamphetamine and approximately $1,000 in cash.

Quarles allegedly admitted to transporting the drugs to Graves County for a delivery.  He was arrested and charged with first-degree trafficking in Fentanyl and possession of methamphetamine.
