Hopkinsville police have identified the man injured in a crash on Canton Street Monday morning.
According to the collision report, a vehicle driven by 34-year-old Travis Bollinger of Hopkinsville was traveling south on Canton Street in the area of West 16th Street when it left the roadway for an unknown reason, colliding with a utility pole.
Bollinger told officers he could not remember the collision. He was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center and from there, was taken to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment.
Crews with the Hopkinsville Fire Department had to work for roughly 20 minutes to free Bollinger from the vehicle.
