Hopkinsville Police arrested 29-year-old Robert King of Hopkinsville after he unlawfully entered a business on 15th Street on Monday night.
According to a report from police, they received a call regarding a security alarm that was set off at Seay Oil Company. Responding to the business, officers found King who reportedly told officers that a worker at the company told him to work on a truck there.
Officers contacted the company’s owners who reportedly said he did not know King. King then allegedly confessed that he was not sure how he ended up at the company, saying he woke up in a tanker truck on the property and found a set keys to the main building.
King was charged with third-degree burglary and public intoxication of a controlled substance.
