The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating after a man was stabbed on Liberty Street early Friday morning.
Hopkinsville Fire and EMS Captain Payton Rogers tells WHOP News that EMS was called to the Salvation Army around 12:40 a.m. after a man was beating on the door of the Salvation Army, saying he was bleeding and needed help.
Crews arrived to find a man in his late 40’s who had multiple stab wounds and lacerations to his head. He was able to communicate that he had been stabbed nearby and came to that location for help.
The victim was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment of his injuries, which are believed to be critical in nature.
