A Hopkinsville man is facing an assault charge after he allegedly threw bleach on a woman’s face Sunday.
According to the Hopkinsville Police Department report, investigation determined that 38-year-old Michael McGregor and a female victim had gotten into a dispute over the woman going through his trashcan. That’s when he allegedly threw bleach on both the trash can and the victim, causing serious physical injuries to her face.
City cameras at the intersection of Bryan Street and Clay Street reportedly captured the incident.
McGregor was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.
