The Hopkinsville Water Environment Authority (HWEA) announced that Daniel Lancaster has been promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer.
According to a news release from HWEA, Lancaster has more than 16 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry and has worked at the company for the past 12 years. He most recently served as HWEA’s Director of Water.
Lancaster says he was incredibly grateful to have the trust, support and confidence of HWEA’s retired President and CEO, Derrick Watson, General Manager Melissa Spurr and the HWEA Board of Commissioners. He also says he looks forward to working alongside the company’s leadership as they continue to advance their operations and serve their customers.
Spurr says as they build on HWEA’s 130-year legacy, she is confident Lancaster will lead their day-to-day operations with excellence and will help move critical projects forward for customers and the community.
