I-69 rock slide cleaned up, roadway reopened in Hopkins County

A rock slide that closed the northbound lanes of Interstate 69 in Hopkins County during intense flooding in mid-February has now reopened.

That’s according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, which states that the rockslide near the 87-mile-marker of I-69 at the Hopkins-Caldwell County line has officially been cleaned up and repairs made to the roadway as needed.

The section of the roadway has been closed since February 15.
