Judge-Executive talks upcoming projects, community survey

As we look towards the new year, Christian County Government is considering what the next year will hold and what a future budget might look like.

Christian County Judge-Executive Jerry Gilliam spoke with WHOP recently and says they’ve put out a survey that they hope county residents will take part in, especially as the Fiscal Court begins considerations in the budget making process.

As for approaching projects, Judge Gilliam says they’re currently accepting bids to do some renovations to Ruff Park, such as new concessions and restroom facilities.

The Christian County Clerk’s Office is also set to get some updating.

The survey can be found on the Christian County Fiscal Court Facebook page or you can pick up a hard copy at the Judge-Executive’s Office at 216 West Seventh Street.
