KYTC to block Baldwin Drive for intersection construction

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced that Baldwin Drive in Madisonville is set to be blocked starting on Monday for work being done to widen U.S. 41A.

Crews will begin constructing a new intersection. The work is a part of a $16.7 million highway improvement project that is set to be completed in December 2026 and will widen U.S. 41A from Yorkwood Place to U.S. 41 and North Main Street.

The road will be blocked starting Monday at 8 a.m. and is set to reopen on Wednesday around 3 p.m. In the meantime, traffic will be diverted.
