The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has made an update to their planned closure at the Little River Bridge in Cadiz—it will start two days later than originally planned.
According to a news release, the bridge is located near Cadiz City Park along Canton Road in Trigg County and the crew will be using a long-reach excavator to remove debris lodged against the bridge. The closure will now start Wednesday and last until work is completed on Tuesday, weather permitting.
There will be no closure on Saturday or Sunday, and this is a day-time closure, which means the bridge will be closed from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. each day.
Motorists can detour via South Road and U.S. 68-Bypass Road.
