A lane restriction on I-24 in Trigg County is set to resume on Wednesday to allow for work to continue on the overpass.
The restriction is for the east bound lane near the 62-mile-marker of I-24 and is to allow for crews to continue repairing damage to the steel beams on the overpass. There will also be a temporary traffic signal installed by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet on the Cerulean Road overpass for alternating traffic flow.
The project has been extended through September 30—weather permitting.
