The Christian County Cattlemen’s Association is inviting the community to their annual spring meeting on Tuesday, March 3 for dinner and a tradeshow.
The association works to support local cattle farmers, provides academic scholarships for students and helps host rodeos. Association member Dustin Love says this meeting is an opportunity for them to get their members, local vendors and sponsors that play a role in local agriculture in one room to share industry trends and changes.
At the meeting, Love says they will have around 15 vendors highlighting a variety of opportunities and services that could support local farmers. He says the meeting is also a chance for people to network. Some people might even leave with some door prizes.
Although the RSVP date has passed, Love says people can still register to attend. He encourages members and non-members interested in attending to call the Christian County Extension Office at 270-886-6328.
The meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Christian County Extension Office Ag Expo Center.
